If you own a 4x4 how often can you experience what it can
really do in a safe and controlled environment? On the
Avalanche Adventure tough terrain track you can:
- Test your 4x4 driving skills.
- Improve your control and become a safer driver.
- Learn the true capabilities of your vehicle in exactly
the type of terrain it was designed for.
'Whether you are a novice, an experienced 4x4 driver or somewhere in between, we can tailor a route to suit your own ability.Using one of our 4 off road prepared Land Rover Defender 90’s around our tough terrain track! (see price list for details).
The Avalanche Adventure tough terrain track comprises hard
and soft ground, steep inclines, shallow and deep water, side
slopes, axle twisters and a wooded section. In fact, there is
every type of terrain you are ever likely to come across.
In the lesson one of our BORDA (British Off Road Driving Association) qualified instructors will give you a brief demonstration drive to explain how to drive the vehicle and tackle certain obstacles. Then you’re in the driving seat for the rest of the session guided by an instructor around our quarry!
Minimum age of 18 to drive the Land Rovers, 12 for a passenger.
4x4 rides can be arranged for under 18’s.
